Maia Bitadze Appointed Minister of Culture of Georgia
Maia Bitadze has been appointed Minister of Culture of Georgia. Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze made the announcement at a briefing held at the Government Administration.
Until now, Maia Bitadze had served as Chair of the Parliament’s Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Committee.
For reference, former Minister of Culture Tinatin Rukhadze left the post on July 28.
