Members of the Parliamentary Majority Met with Members of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe

Members of the parliamentary majority met with members of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, who are currently visiting Georgia.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the parliamentary elections, the recommendations of the OSCE/ODIHR, the political situation in the country, ongoing protests, and the actions of the opposition.

As stated by Irakli Kirtzkhalia, the first deputy chairman of the Georgian Dream faction, after the meeting, the Georgian side provided the delegation with fact-based answers to their questions.

"We always emphasize the importance of visits by any monitoring mission, representatives of partner countries, or political groups that objectively document each fact and the current situation in Georgia's reality. Overall, for us, the most important things are objectivity and truth.

We hope that the report prepared following this meeting will objectively and fairly reflect all the facts of interest to our friends," said Irakli Kirtzkhalia.

The meeting was also attended by members of the parliamentary majority: Tea Tsulukiani, Givi Mikanadze, Rati Ionatamishvili, Zviad Shalamberidze, Levan Machavariani, Mariam Lashkhi, and Eka Sepashvili.
