Officers of the Tbilisi Police Department of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs detained one person on charges of premeditated murder.

The investigation established that in Tbilisi, during a physical confrontation that began as a result of a mutual argument, the accused used a bladed weapon to inflict a fatal wound to a man’s chest.

As a result of operational measures and investigative actions carried out by law enforcement officers, the perpetrator was detained in hot pursuit as the accused.

The investigation is being conducted under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which предусматривает punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 15 years.
