Rain, thunderstorms, and hail — the National Environmental Agency warns the public about the expected deterioration of weather conditions

The National Environmental Agency is warning the public about the expected worsening of weather conditions.

“From the end of May 23 until the morning of May 25, intermittent precipitation is expected across most of Georgia, with heavy rain in some areas. Thunderstorms and hail are also possible.

The expected precipitation may cause a significant rise in water levels in Georgia’s rivers, flooding on small rivers, as well as trigger and intensify landslide and mudflow processes in hilly and mountainous areas. (Danger level — moderate),” the agency said in its statement.
