The National Environment Agency of Georgia has released information on the weather expected in Georgia from January 21 to 23.

According to the National Environment Agency, cold weather will persist in Georgia until January 24.

Tbilisi: Cold and mostly dry weather is expected. Nighttime temperatures will range from −2 to −6°C, while daytime temperatures will be +2 to +6°C.

Coastal areas (Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, Poti): Precipitation is expected on January 21 and 23, while January 22 will be dry. Nighttime temperatures will be +1 to +3°C, and daytime temperatures +8 to +10°C.

Lowland areas of Western Georgia (Zestafoni, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti): Precipitation is expected on January 21 and 23, with dry weather on January 22. Nighttime temperatures will be −3 to +3°C, and daytime temperatures +7 to +9°C.

Mountainous areas of Western Georgia (Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo, Rikoti Pass): Snow is expected at times. Nighttime temperatures will be −5 to −10°C, and daytime temperatures +1 to +6°C.

High-mountain areas of Western Georgia (Mestia, Bakhmaro): Snow is expected at times. Nighttime temperatures will be −8 to −13°C, and daytime temperatures −3 to +2°C.

Kartli (Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori, Tskhinvali): Cold and mostly dry weather. Nighttime temperatures will be −7 to −12°C, and daytime temperatures +1 to +4°C.

Kakheti (Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Sighnaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, Dedoplistskaro): Cold and mostly dry weather. Nighttime temperatures will be −5 to −10°C, and daytime temperatures +1 to +4°C.

Mountainous areas of Eastern Georgia (Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, Pasanauri): Cold and mostly dry weather. Nighttime temperatures will be −8 to −13°C, and daytime temperatures −2 to +2°C.

High-mountain areas of Eastern Georgia (Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, Omalo): Cold and mostly dry weather. Nighttime temperatures will be −13 to −18°C, and daytime temperatures −1 to −6°C.
