What Weather Do Forecasters Predict for the Coming Days in Georgia?
The National Environmental Agency has released a weather forecast for Georgia for April 12–14.
According to the agency, cool and occasionally rainy weather will persist across Georgia in the coming days.
In Tbilisi, short showers with thunderstorms are possible. Daytime temperatures will range from +12 to +14°C.
In coastal regions (Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, Poti): on April 12, cool and rainy weather is expected. Air temperatures will be between +9 and +11°C. On April 13–14, the weather will improve, and temperatures will rise to +14 to +16°C.
In the lowland regions of Western Georgia (Zestafoni, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti): on April 12, cool and rainy weather is expected, with temperatures around +8 to +10°C. On April 13–14, the weather will improve, and it will warm up to +16 to +18°C.
In the mountainous regions of Western Georgia (Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo, Rikoti Pass): short showers and thunderstorms are possible in some areas. On April 12, daytime temperatures will be +7 to +9°C, rising to +14 to +16°C on April 13–14.
In the high-mountain regions of Western Georgia (Mestia, Bakhmaro): snow is expected in some places on April 12. Daytime temperatures will be around 0 to +5°C. On April 13–14, the weather will improve, with temperatures rising to +7 to +12°C.
In Kartli (Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori, Tskhinvali): isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible. Daytime temperatures will range from +10 to +15°C.
In Kakheti (Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Sighnagi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, Dedoplistskaro): isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible. Daytime temperatures will be between +9 and +14°C.
In the mountainous regions of Eastern Georgia (Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, Pasanauri): short showers and thunderstorms are possible in some areas. Daytime temperatures will range from +7 to +12°C.
In the high-mountain regions of Eastern Georgia (Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, Omalo): snow is expected in some places. Daytime temperatures will be around 0 to +5°C.
