Traffic for trailer and semi-trailer vehicles has been restored on the Gudauri–Kobi section

According to the Roads Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Infrastructure, traffic for trailer and semi-trailer vehicles has been restored on km 93–km 107 of the international Mtskheta–Stepantsminda–Lars highway (Gudauri–Kobi section).

According to the National Environmental Agency, vehicle movement on the Mleta–Gudauri and Gudauri–Kobi sections will operate in uninterrupted transit mode, while on the Gudauri–Kobi section traffic will be allowed only through avalanche-protection tunnels.

In the tunnels, movement of trailer and semi-trailer vehicles, as well as M3 category passenger transport (vehicles with more than 8 seats excluding the driver and a total mass exceeding 5 tons), will be carried out in one-way mode.
