The 13th Infantry Battalion of the 1st Infantry Brigade under the Eastern Command of the Georgian Defense Forces has completed a tactical field exercise involving live-fire training.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the unit’s personnel conducted an operation at the Orpholo training area aimed at destroying and neutralizing a simulated enemy. The field exercise was carried out with the support of artillery-engineering units and aviation.

The progress of the exercise was reviewed by the Commander of the Eastern Command, Brigadier General Roland Dzneladze. The field tactical exercise at the Orpholo training ground was conducted in two phases. The goal of the training was the coordinated preparation of units in cooperation with supporting elements.
