President of Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili pardoned 59 people in connection with the Ninooba holiday.

The act of pardon applied to 57 convicted individuals, while criminal records were cleared for two others.

The use of the exclusive powers granted to the President of Georgia by the Constitution is based on the principle of humanism, as well as the interests of the state, the Administration of the President of Georgia reported.
