Police Solve Premeditated Murder Case in Lagodekhi Hot on the Trail – Two Arrested

Officers of the Kakheti Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained two individuals—G.O., born in 1998, and E.I., born in 1994—on charges of premeditated murder, as a result of prompt investigative and search operations. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“The investigation established that on June 25 of this year, the accused shot and killed F.A., born in 1975, the owner of one of the shops at the agricultural market in the village of Kabala, Lagodekhi Municipality, and fled the scene. The victim died before arriving at a medical facility.
As a result of the conducted investigative and search activities, G.O. and E.I. were detained hot on the trail as suspects,” the Ministry’s statement reads.
According to the agency, the investigation into the premeditated murder is being conducted under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia. The crime carries a sentence of up to 15 years in prison.
