The Head of the Georgian Defence Forces, Lieutenant General Giorgi Matiashvili, awarded distinguished servicemembers with certificates and badges. The information was released by the Ministry of Defence’s press service.
The commander thanked Captain Mirza Tkhelidze, Senior Lieutenant Giorgi Oniashvili, Senior Sergeant Bagrati Kapanadze, Junior Sergeant Malkhaz Chkhalelia, and Corporal Vano Kelenjeridze for their conscientious service and wished them success.
The award ceremony took place at the General Staff of the Georgian Defence Forces.
The selection of the best servicemembers is conducted quarterly based on various criteria, including discipline, the level of physical and combat readiness, the quality of duty performance, as well as decision-making skills and the ability to work in a team. The goal of the project is to enhance servicemember motivation and the overall level of combat readiness.
