Georgia’s national water polo team beat the Canadian team at the Danube Cup 2026. This was reported by the Georgian Ministry of Sports.

Georgia’s national water polo team is preparing for the Division 2 World Cup matches.

As part of the preparation period, the team is participating in the international Danube Cup 2026 tournament.

In the first match of the tournament, the Georgian water polo players faced the Canadians and defeated their opponent with a score of 17–11.

At the tournament, the national team will also play against the teams of Australia and Slovakia.
