In Batumi, on the territory of the Chakvi settlement, construction of a complex for a shelter for stray dogs has begun.

As part of the project, on an area of 26,696 square meters, two identical blocks of the shelter for stray dogs are planned to be built. The blocks will house 180 individual kennels, equipped with water supply and drainage systems. A central courtyard for dog walks will be arranged in the main part of the building.

The shelter complex will include eight auxiliary buildings. Blocks for various purposes are planned, including veterinary, administrative, quarantine, kitchen, grooming, and a dog hotel. A training and exercise area for the dogs will also be set up on the territory.
