A training alert was declared at one of the military units of the so-called South Ossetia. Combat readiness was tested at the unit, according to the “Res” news agency.

According to the so-called Ministry of Defense, the personnel and duty unit fully carried out their assigned tasks.

As stated by the so-called Defense Minister Yuri Yarovitsky, military equipment and standard-issue weapons will also be used during similar inspections in the future.

“Such surprise inspections are conducted regularly to maintain a high level of defense capability,” officials in Tskhinvali said.
