The Agency of Protected Areas participated in the international tourism exhibition COITM 2026, held in Beijing, the capital of China. The Agency of Protected Areas announced the information.

As part of the exhibition, an international audience learned about the ecotourism and adventure tourism opportunities available in Georgia’s national parks. The opportunity to explore Georgia’s national parks virtually using virtual reality headsets attracted particular interest.

Over the course of three days, the exhibition welcomed international representatives of the tourism industry. The event featured presentations, panel discussions, and B2B meetings, which facilitated the establishment of professional contacts and discussions on opportunities for future cooperation.

Promoting Georgia’s national parks in the Chinese tourism market will help raise awareness of the country’s ecotourism potential, strengthen international partnerships, and attract international visitors.
