On April 15–16, the President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, will pay his first official visit to Azerbaijan. The information was released by the Administration of the President of Georgia.

During the official visit, Mikheil Kavelashvili will meet with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

High-level meetings are planned — both in narrow and extended formats — with the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, and the Chairperson of the Milli Majlis, Sahiba Gafarova.

The Georgian delegation, led by the President, includes Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Lasha Darsalia and Members of Parliament Givi Mikanadze, Zaur Dargali, and Savalan Mirzoev.
