Mikheil Kavelashvili met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan

The President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, who is on an official visit to Georgia, the administration of the President of Georgia reports.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the political and economic relations between the two countries and considered prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation in various fields.

The President of Georgia thanked the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan for supporting Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

As Mikheil Kavelashvili noted at the meeting, Georgia is ready to deepen cooperation in political, economic, and cultural spheres.

“We are ready to strengthen bilateral cooperation in political, economic, and cultural areas and contribute to the more effective development of the potential of the South Caucasus and Central Asian regions, as well as to creating greater prosperity for our countries, which, in turn, will help promote a just and peaceful multipolar international order,” the President of Georgia stated.
