Mikheil Kavelashvili met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić in Belgrade

The President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, met with the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić. This was reported by the Administration of the President of Georgia.

During the private meeting, held at the “Palace of Serbia,” the leaders discussed deepening cooperation between Georgia and Serbia in political, economic, technological, and cultural spheres.

The sides also spoke about existing friendly ties, cultural closeness, shared values, and challenges, which create a strong foundation for the further development of bilateral relations.

The meeting also addressed current political processes in Georgia and Serbia, and emphasized the importance of peace and stability.

As Mikheil Kavelashvili noted at the meeting, Georgia values Serbia’s support for its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The President of Georgia invited his Serbian counterpart to visit Georgia.

Mikheil Kavelashvili is in the Republic of Serbia on an official visit with a delegation. The Georgian delegation includes: Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Bochorishvili, Members of Parliament Irakli Mezurnishvili, Irma Zavradrashvili, Guram Macharashvili, the Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Serbia Levan Beridze, and representatives of the Administration of the President of Georgia.
