Mamuka Mdinaradze to become State Minister of Georgia
“A position of State Minister for the coordination of law enforcement agencies will be added to the structure of the Government of Georgia, which will be held by Mamuka Mdinaradze,” Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said at a briefing.
According to him, Mdinaradze will also be appointed as Deputy Prime Minister.
Mdinaradze previously served as the Head of the State Security Service.
Geka Geladze has been appointed as the Head of the State Security Service; he previously held the position of Minister of Internal Affairs.
In addition, the Prime Minister presented Sulkhan Tamazashvili as the new Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, who previously headed the Government of Adjara.
