Irakli Kobakhidze: Over the past year, we have further strengthened peace in Georgia, the country’s independence and sovereignty, and boosted the Georgian economy, which for the first time in history has exceeded 100 billion
“I extend New Year’s greetings to every citizen of our country, to our compatriots living abroad, and to Georgians, Abkhazians, and Ossetians living in Abkhazia and Samachablo,” the New Year’s address of Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze says.
According to the head of government, 2025 was a year full of challenges, yet at the same time a successful one for Georgia.
“I congratulate teachers, doctors, artists, public servants, soldiers, police officers, judges, prosecutors, representatives of the security services, entrepreneurs, farmers, peasants, workers, and representatives of all professions.
The New Year is a holiday we welcome with hope for the fulfillment of dreams and the achievement of our goals. This is exactly what I wish for each of you and your families — the realization of your dreams and the accomplishment of all your set objectives.
The year 2025 was full of challenges, but at the same time successful for our country. Over the past year, we have further strengthened peace in Georgia, reinforced the country’s independence and sovereignty, and boosted the Georgian economy, which for the first time in history has exceeded 100 billion. The past year was also a turning point in terms of improving the system of public governance and strengthening the rule of law.
The foundations laid in 2025 create a solid basis for the coming year to be even more successful for Georgia,” the Prime Minister notes.
