Georgia continues to support Ukraine in international formats, condemns Russia’s aggression, and demands accountability for human rights violations, the UK government stated.

“Important steps have been taken to support a fair and long-lasting peace for Ukraine. The United Kingdom, together with 24 other states, signed a convention aimed at establishing an international commission to review complaints for Ukraine. This new agreement represents an unprecedented step to address Russia’s responsibility for committing horrific crimes.

The agreement gives hope to all families and individuals affected by the aggression. It sends a clear signal to Putin that aggression and violations of international law will not go unanswered. Among the signatories of the convention is Georgia, which continues to support Ukraine in international formats, condemns Russia’s aggression, and demands accountability for Russia’s human rights violations,” the released statement said.
