Officers of the Vake-Saburtalo Main Division of the Tbilisi Police Department, as a result of operative measures and investigative actions, detained 42-year-old N.D. based on a court order. She is accused of attacking a public servant while they were performing official duties, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

According to the ministry, the investigation established that on June 9 of this year, in the Tbilisi City Court, the accused failed to comply with court marshal staff and physically assaulted one of them.

As a result of the investigative actions, N.D. was taken into custody. The investigation is being conducted under Article 353¹, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.

According to the law, this offense is punishable by imprisonment for a term of 4 to 7 years.
