Officers of the Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia detained, hot on the trail, a citizen of Turkey, A.T., born in 1980, on charges of attempted premeditated murder. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“According to the investigation, during a mutual quarrel in Batumi, the accused inflicted injuries with a bladed weapon on various parts of the bodies of his acquaintances — citizens of the Republic of Turkey, M.V., born in 1988, and F.O., born in 1981.

The injured men were taken to a clinic for medical treatment.

The police detained A.T. hot on the trail as the suspect.

The investigation is ongoing under Article 19-108 of the Criminal Code, which provides for imprisonment for up to 15 years,” the statement reads.
