Officers of the Patrol Police, Tbilisi Police, and the Adjara and Guria police departments of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs detained four individuals on charges of незаконное acquisition, storage, and carrying of firearms and ammunition. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

“As a result of searches of the suspects’ personal belongings, their homes, as well as a workshop, law enforcement officers seized various types of firearms and ammunition as evidence.

The investigation is being conducted under Article 236 of the Criminal Code, which предусматривает punishment of up to 7 years of imprisonment,” the statement said.
