Employees of the Tbilisi Main Division of the Patrol Police Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs detained previously convicted K.O., born in 1975, on charges of illegal acquisition, possession, and carrying of firearms and ammunition.
Patrol inspectors seized firearms, live rounds, and magazines as evidence from the vehicle driven by the suspect, as well as during a search of his residence.
The investigation is being conducted under Parts 3 and 4 of Article 236 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which provides for up to 7 years of imprisonment.
