Migration Department Officers Expelled 25 Foreign Nationals from Georgia

As a result of complex operations carried out in recent days in close coordination between the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the ministry’s relevant units, 25 foreign nationals were expelled from the country, according to a statement by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the ministry, the expelled individuals were citizens of Armenia, Uzbekistan, Iran, Nigeria, Tajikistan, China, Turkmenistan, Russia, India, Algeria, Egypt, Turkey, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.
In accordance with current legislation, the expelled individuals have been banned from re-entering the country.
The Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia is the agency responsible for combating illegal migration within the country. One of its core functions is identifying foreign nationals who are staying in Georgia without legal grounds and carrying out their expulsion.
