Employees of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, in coordination with the relevant units of the ministry, have expelled 83 foreign citizens from Georgia over the past several days. The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs reports this.

“As a result of comprehensive measures carried out by the Migration Department, a total of 83 citizens of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Türkiye, Russia, Ethiopia, Egypt, Iraq, India, Burundi, Pakistan, Kenya, Bulgaria, Bangladesh, Jordan, Nigeria, Armenia, Uzbekistan, China and other countries were expelled from the country.

In accordance with the applicable legislation, the expelled individuals were banned from entering the country.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia continues its intensive efforts to combat illegal migration in the country. According to the latest statistical data, more than 3,000 people have already been expelled from the country by Migration Department officers this year alone,” the statement said.
