The Kutaisi City Court fully accepted the evidence presented by the prosecution and found the defendant guilty of raping his minor daughter, according to a statement from the prosecutor's office.

"The evidence examined during the trial confirms that the defendant systematically raped his underage daughter, using violence and taking advantage of the victim's helplessness due to her age.

Law enforcement officers detained the defendant on August 23, 2025. He was charged under Article 11, Part 3, Clauses “e” and “g” of Part 4, Part 137 of the Criminal Code of Georgia (rape of a minor family member) and was remanded in custody as a preventive measure.

The Kutaisi City Court found the accused fully guilty of the charges and determined the type and term of punishment to be life imprisonment," the statement said.
