In Kvemo Kartli, a man killed his neighbor and buried the body in his yard

Officers of the Dmanisi District Division of the Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia detained a 45-year-old man (born in 1979), identified as J.A., who has previous convictions for various crimes, on charges of intentional murder. The information was released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
“The investigation determined that an argument broke out between J.A., who was intoxicated, and D.D., which escalated into a physical confrontation. As a result, D.D. lost his balance, fell down the stairs, and hit a concrete slab. He died at the scene from his injuries. In an attempt to conceal the crime, the accused buried the body in the yard of his house.
The Kvemo Kartli police discovered D.D.’s body in the yard of the accused’s house during a forensic experiment.
Law enforcement officers detained J.A. on the spot as a suspect. The investigation is underway under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which pertains to intentional murder. The crime is punishable by imprisonment from 10 to 15 years,” the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
