Employees of Georgia's National Food Agency have discovered expired veterinary medicines at a veterinary pharmacy in the township of Chakvi.
"To protect the health of domestic animals, the National Food Agency continues to inspect veterinary clinics and pharmacies throughout the country.
During a routine inspection, inspectors from the Agency's Adjara Department found expired medicines at the veterinary pharmacy of sole proprietor E.K. (address: 34 Queen Tamar Street, Chakvi). The seized products included an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory fir ointment, the antimicrobial and disinfectant solution 'Yodzefi', and the antiparasitic injectable solution 'Prius'.
