A traffic accident occurred on the Rustavi–Tbilisi highway.

According to available information, the driver of the vehicle lost control and veered off the road. As a result of the accident, 3 people were injured. The injured were transported to a clinic by an ambulance crew.

Law enforcement officers were present at the scene.

An investigation has been launched under Article 276 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which concerns the violation of traffic safety or vehicle operation rules. It is punishable by a fine or house arrest for a term of six months to two years, or imprisonment for up to three years.
