With the support of the National Wine Agency of Georgia, Georgian wine was presented at the China Food and Drinks Fair

With the assistance of the National Wine Agency and its contractor company Bogvi International Trading Company Ltd, eight Georgian wine producers showcased around 25 different types of wines at the international China Food and Drinks Fair in China.This year, the exhibition was held in the city of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province.The China Food & Drinks Fair, which was held for the 113th time this year, is considered one of the most professional and influential exhibitions in Asia.

Each year, it attracts up to 300,000 visitors, including wine importers, bloggers, distributors, representatives of the HoReCa sector (hotels, cafes, restaurants), media, and wine industry professionals from around the world. Presenting Georgian wine at this event helps attract new business partners and, consequently, contributes to the growth of exports to the People’s Republic of China.It is noteworthy that China is one of the key strategic markets for Georgian wine.

Since 2013, an active marketing campaign has been underway there to increase awareness of Georgian wine and boost export volumes.China has firmly established itself among the top five importing countries of Georgian wine.From January to September of this year, 2.2 million liters of Georgian wine were exported from Georgia to China — 16% more than during the same period last year.

With the support of the National Wine Agency, Georgian wine was also presented this year at Fine Wine Hotel Exhibition, The China Food & Drinks Fair, RAW Wine Shanghai, Shanghai International Wine Challenge (SIWC), and Interwine China 2025.
