GeoStat: Domestic exports rise by 7.5% in January-September 2025

According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GeoStat), Georgia’s total export of goods (excluding undeclared exports) reached USD 5,151.4 million between January and September 2025, marking a 7.7% increase compared to the same period last year.

GeoStat reports that domestic exports, excluding re-exports, constitute 45.6% of the total exports. This figure has grown by 7.5% year-on-year, amounting to USD 2,348.8 million.

The agency’s latest report indicates that, in January-September 2025, the ten largest trading partners accounted for 70.4% of Georgia’s total domestic exports. The leading export destinations are Russia, with USD 509.2 million; Turkiye, with USD 211.0 million; and China, with USD 197.1 million.

Furthermore, according to GeoStat, the top ten categories of local exports during this period are led by precious metal ores and concentrates, which amounted to USD 276.2 million, representing 11.8% of total domestic exports. Natural grape wines rank second with USD 189.1 million, followed by alcoholic beverages in third place with USD 167.3 million.
