Georgian Wine Presented at the “Salon Monte Carlo Gastronomie” Festival in Monaco

With the support of the National Wine Agency and the contracting company Le Pont Caucasien, a presentation of Georgian wine took place in Monaco at the gastronomic and wine festival Salon Monte Carlo Gastronomie.

Visitors of the four-day festival had the opportunity to explore the products of 10 Georgian winemaking companies, featuring various types of Georgian wines. Georgian wine at the festival was presented by the France-based enologist and head of Le Pont Caucasien, Ilia Kakhoidze.

The 28th edition of the festival was attended by thousands of visitors — both wine consumers and representatives of the commercial and HoReCa sectors — which is highly significant for promoting Georgian wine.

Salon Monte Carlo Gastronomie is one of the most important events in the region, and participation in it helps increase the recognition of Georgian wine not only in Monaco but also in France. One of the main directions of the National Wine Agency’s activities is the promotion of Georgian wine and the enhancement of its visibility in international markets. Since 2013, as part of market diversification efforts, the agency has been carrying out advertising and marketing campaigns, including in countries renowned for their winemaking traditions, such as France, where demand for Georgian wines — especially qvevri wines — continues to grow.
