China Surpasses Germany to Become the Largest Supplier of Beer to the Russian Market

From January to September 2025, China increased its beer shipments to Russia by 1.5 times compared to the previous year. During this period, beer worth $33.4 million was exported from China to Russia.

The second place was taken by the Czech Republic — $15.6 million. Germany, which previously led in beer exports to the Russian market, reduced its shipments sixfold, down to $12.2 million.

Beer exports to Russia also declined from other European countries, including Belgium, Latvia, the Netherlands, and Poland.

Komersant notes that overall, beer imports from the European Union to Russia have fallen to their lowest level in ten years.
