In Pakistan, a terrorist rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into a military convoy, killing 16 people

In North Waziristan, near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, a suicide bomber driving a vehicle packed with explosives rammed into a military convoy.
According to a source cited by the agency, 16 soldiers were killed, and about 20 others, including civilians, were injured.
“The explosion destroyed the roofs of two houses, and six children were wounded,” a Pakistani police spokesperson told AFP.
The Times of India reports that responsibility for the blast was claimed by the group of field commander Hafiz Gul Bahadur, which is part of the Pakistani Taliban.
