The Roads Department of Georgia is disseminating information about the current situation on the roads.

According to the National Environmental Agency, on the km 93–km 107 section of the international highway Mtskheta–Stepantsminda–Lars (Gudauri (Post Office) – Kobi), the level of avalanche risk is high, therefore the movement of all types of vehicles is restricted on this section.

Since the beginning of January, heavy snowfall has been observed in various regions of Georgia.
