Tengiz Korashvili, who was illegally detained by occupation forces on May 19 of this year near the village of Khurvaleti in the Gori municipality, has been released. This was reported by the State Security Service of Georgia.

According to the State Security Service, Korashvili is already on territory controlled by the central government.

“We continue active efforts to secure the release of all Georgian citizens who remain in illegal detention on the occupied territories,” the statement released by the State Security Service of Georgia said.
