Georgia Appoints New Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan

Levan Diasamidze has been appointed as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Kazakhstan, according to a statement from Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ministry notes that Levan Diasamidze has many years of experience working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as in Georgia’s diplomatic and consular missions abroad.
"From 2022 until now, he served as Georgia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Moldova.
From 2019 to 2022, he was Georgia’s Consul General in Frankfurt am Main. At various times, Levan Diasamidze also served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Austria.
Over the years, he held the position of Deputy Director of the Department for Relations with Neighboring Countries and Regions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and also served as Deputy Head of the Military-Political Affairs Department.
Levan Diasamidze holds the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary," the Ministry’s statement reads.
