Volski: in the opposition they are opposing each other over who can inflict greater harm on Georgia; these people are pursuing the goal of destroying the country and no longer hide it
The First Vice-Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Gia Volski, speaking about the “opposition alliance,” stated that within the opposition there is internal confrontation over who is capable of causing greater harm to Georgia.
According to him, these individuals are aiming at the destruction of the country and are no longer concealing it.
“In the opposition there will be confrontation, because there are no people in their ranks who can stay united. One of the reasons for their disagreements is leadership. Everyone wants to show their ‘patrons’ that they are the most effective, that they should receive more funding and have the greatest support.
Flirting and trying to impress someone is a normal phenomenon. These people are a collective ‘National Movement’. Their internal dynamics reflect their character, but do not change the essence. The question is who can inflict greater harm on Georgia — and this is what they are arguing about.
Door-to-door campaigning is an acceptable political practice, but they do not have the resources for it. They cannot convince people that Georgia should be engulfed in fire and that destabilization is the right path. These people are pursuing the destruction of the country and no longer hide it.
They and their patrons sometimes demand economic sanctions, sometimes speak about confrontation with Russia. They are small pawns moving from one bench to another, speaking in parks and on streets. In fact, this is a group of saboteurs who call their activity ‘door-to-door campaigning,’” Volski said.
