The Prime Minister of Georgia to Pay an Official Visit to Azerbaijan
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, will visit Azerbaijan on January 17.
According to the government administration, during the visit to Baku, a meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan will take place under the leadership of the prime ministers of the two countries. Members of both governments will participate in the meeting.
A personal meeting between the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, and the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, is planned. Following the meeting, the leaders will make joint statements to the press.
The Georgian delegation, headed by the Prime Minister, will include the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Levan Davitashvili; the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Bochorishvili; the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Davit Songhulashvili; the Minister of Culture, Tinatin Rukhadze; and the Head of the Government Administration, Levan Zhorzholiani.
