Officers of the Tbilisi Police Department of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs have detained two individuals on charges of intentional murder committed by a group under aggravating circumstances. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

The investigation established that during a conflict that began on a domestic dispute, the accused inflicted multiple stab wounds on a citizen and fled the scene. The young man died on the spot as a result of his injuries.
As a result of оператив operational-search measures and investigative actions, law enforcement officers identified both suspects and detained them as accused persons.
The investigation is ongoing under Article 109, paragraph “i” of the Criminal Code, which provides for up to 20 years of imprisonment or life imprisonment.
