Officers of the Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs detained in the Gardabani municipality a person wanted for intentionally causing bodily harm. This was reported by the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the agency, on January 29 of this year, following a domestic conflict, the detainee shot his fellow villager with an unregistered hunting rifle, causing bodily injuries, and then fled the scene.

“As a result of оперативative measures and investigative actions carried out within the framework of this criminal case, law enforcement officers soon identified the person accused of the crime, after which he was declared wanted.

Police detained the wanted individual in the Gardabani municipality. At present, he has been transferred to the 8th penitentiary institution,” the statement says.
