Employees of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, in coordination with the relevant units of the ministry, have expelled 61 foreign nationals from Georgia in recent days. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia reports this.

“As a result of comprehensive measures carried out by the Migration Department, a total of 61 citizens of India, Egypt, Turkey, Cuba, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Russia, Nigeria, Armenia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Burundi, Ethiopia and Pakistan were expelled from the country.

In accordance with the applicable legislation, the expelled individuals were banned from entering the country.

According to statistical data for the current year, Migration Department employees have already expelled around 3,000 people from the country, which significantly exceeds the total figure for the previous year,” the statement said.
