Kobakhidze on the meeting with Zelensky: the conversation was friendly; the problems that existed remain in force, however, we must be oriented toward the future
“The spirit and tone of the conversation, expressed by both sides, were friendly,” Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said in response to a journalist’s question about the meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to him, since the meeting was closed, its content cannot be disclosed.
“I cannot speak about the details. The only thing I can say is that our conversation was essentially focused on the future. That’s all I can tell you. The spirit and tone of this conversation, from both sides, were friendly.
I cannot go into detail about which issues we discussed and which we did not, given that the meeting was closed and, accordingly, its content cannot be made public.
The problems have not gone anywhere. Didn’t Podolyak make statements after yesterday’s meeting? Or didn’t Danilov make statements? Or weren’t other steps taken?! Of course, the problems that existed remain in force; however, we must be oriented toward the future — that is our approach,” the prime minister noted.
