The National Bank of Georgia has set a new exchange rate. Following trading on January 5, the US dollar strengthened to 2.6968 lari. The rate in effect earlier today was 2.6963 lari.

The euro weakened, with its rate standing at 3.1515 lari. The rate in effect earlier today was 3.1646 lari.

The Turkish lira also weakened, with its value at 0.0627 lari.

The exchange rate set as a result of today’s trading will take effect on January 6.
