The National Food Agency of Georgia has suspended production at “Hani Marani” in Batumi
Inspectors from the Adjara Department of the National Food Agency of Georgia, during an unplanned inspection in Batumi, identified critical non-compliance at “Hani Marani” (address: Batumi, 2nd Khakhuli Lane N2). The information was released by the National Food Agency.
According to the agency, the business operator was carrying out activities without registration in the Economic Activities Register and was distributing products from the Kakheti region to Adjara.
At the facility, wine bottling and packaging were carried out in violation of sanitary standards and the rules for providing consumers with information about food products.
Due to the identified critical violations, the business operator was fined, and the facility’s production activities were suspended until the violations are corrected and registration in the Economic Activities Register is completed.
