The National Bank of Georgia has set a new official exchange rate.
Following trading on August 25, the US dollar strengthened to 2.6153 GEL. The exchange rate in effect today was 2.6121 GEL.
The euro also strengthened, with its exchange rate reaching 3.0500 GEL. The rate in effect today was 3.0465 GEL.
The Turkish lira strengthened as well, with its value reaching 0.0544 GEL.
The exchange rate established following today’s trading will take effect on August 26.
