The National Bank of Georgia has set a new official exchange rate. Following trading on August 27, the US dollar weakened against the lari, falling to 2.6125 GEL. The exchange rate in effect today was 2.6195 GEL.

The euro also weakened, with its exchange rate falling to 3.0412 GEL. The rate in effect today was 3.0551 GEL.

The Turkish lira also weakened, with its value standing at 0.0543 GEL.

The exchange rate established following today’s trading will take effect on August 28.
